Is the unit's statement of inquiry still relevant today? Look for a current event [an event that is still on going, within the last 2 years, or that is unresolved] that addresses the unit's statement of inquiry.
Through a very informal 'presentation', you will share why you believe your current event fits this unit's statement of inquiry. This is what I want you to do:
Things to consider:
You will have 6 slides. Each slide will address/answer a question:

Through a very informal 'presentation', you will share why you believe your current event fits this unit's statement of inquiry. This is what I want you to do:
- create a 6 slide presentation..NO more, NO less.
- 3-5 min to present and address your slides to the class [we will do this from your seats, no one is getting up in front of the class]
Things to consider:
- A good slide presentation will have a minimal amount of words. If your slide contains a lot of words then your audience is not listening to you, instead they’re too busy reading your slide.
- Your slides should contain visuals, visuals that help provide context to what you are telling your audience.
- If you learned something, then you don’t need a script or notes to refer to, because you learned it and not memorized it.
You will have 6 slides. Each slide will address/answer a question:
- Explain/describe your current event?
- What is the adverse social/political/economic condition?
- How did the adverse social/political/economic condition inspire change in intellectual thought?
- Why/how did it create conflict?
- What impact did/does your current event have/create?
- Is/was the conflict resolved? If so, how? If not, what needs to be done?
