- Find five (5) quality resources appropriate to your investigation. Explore a range of sources, maintaining a healthy balance that might include scholarly, popular, qualitative, as well as visual.
- Research Question Submission File
- Set up Noodletools [see helpful visuals below] and Write Thesis Statement
- Start a “project”
- share with your teacher using “Dashboard/’Share with a project inbox’”
- type in your ‘research question’ in “Dashboard/’Research Question’”
- input the citation information as you find appropriate sources: click on “Sources” in the toolbar
- type in your ‘thesis statement’ in “Dashboard/’Thesis Statement’”
- when you are ready to start your Annotated Bibliography, click on “Options/Edit Annotation” for each source in your “Sources” section
Annotated Bibliography:
- You will create three short-form annotations and two OPVL annotations
- Short Form: in the “Edit Annotation” box, write a brief description of the source and why you think it is useful to your investigation.
- OPVL: for two of your sources, you will create 250-word Origin Purpose Value & Limitation (OPVL) annotations. You will be trained in class how to do this.
